Christa Hixon

As a previous PACT student, Christa is now a Coaching Specialist. She has experience with home renovation, buying subject-to, buying with master lease options, selling with lease purchases, landlording, and land trusts. Christa leverages her large network to continue making it all happen as she builds her portfolio…and she’ll show you how to do the same!

In 1995, Christa and her husband bought their first personal home traditionally through a real estate agent. It was a large 3-story Victorian home in an economically challenged area of Pittsburgh, PA. The house came with a tenant on the first floor who covered about half of the mortgage payment. A year later, they rented a room to a friend who covered nearly the rest of the mortgage. They had no idea how to be “landlords”, but they got along very well with the tenants who always paid their rent on time.

They have since sold the house in Pittsburgh. They moved to Orlando, Florida in 1998. Christa decided to investigate real estate further, and in 2002 she purchased a used real estate course off the internet. The most important thing she learned from that course was to join her local real estate investment association (REIA). She searched online and found Central Florida Realty Investors (CFRI), a REIA in her hometown of Orlando. Christa joined in 2003—the year she had the pleasure of meeting Augie Byllott for the first time!

In 2004, she purchased her first investment property. Since then, she has continued to consistently build her portfolio one house at a time. Her growth as a real estate investor began to plateau, so Christa decided to join the PACT Coaching Program to help grow her business. In her words…

Christa is currently a co-leader for CFRI’s Real Estate Investing Techniques Focus Group, and is proud to be an assistant coach for the PACT Coaching Program.
